Are
you swimming in paper? Call Pauline ASAP, we did and now we have
4 large bags of shredded paper which was simply taking up space
in our house. She not only gets rid of paper, but dust, which has
accumulated in that paper. I'm not kidding. If you're always digging
through things like I was for my sewing room, the money I spent
on Pauline's services was greatly reduced by the sewing notions
and fabrics I've been buying doubles or triples of because I couldn't
find where I had put them.

London
area woman becomes first Certified Professional Organizer
in Southwestern Ontario !
( London ,
Ontario ) The owner of Just In Time Solutions is the first person
in Southwestern Ontario to receive the prestigious designation
of Certified Professional Organizer (CPO). Pauline Hoffman was
awarded her designation from the Board of Certification for Professional
Organizers (BCPO) based upon her experience, client interaction
and solid understanding of the most current industry standards
and techniques.
The BCPO is
the self-governing, independent certifying body formed in 2007 to
recognize and raise industry standards, practices and ethics through
independent certification. The BCPO's mission is to affirm and acknowledge
the passion for the organizing profession by advancing industry
credibility, professionalism, and ethical standards through credentialing.
In recognizing experienced organizers such as Pauline Hoffman, the
BCPO seeks to inspire all organizers to provide superior client
services and to continue to develop expertise in the transfer of
higher-level organizing skills. The resulting CPO designation is
a measure of the industry's maturity and long-term viability in
the marketplace.
"Being certified gives me additional credibility with my clients
as they become more aware of our industry", says Hoffman. "It
also enables me to differentiate myself from my peers in an ever-increasing
competitive market."
The designation is recognition of professionals who have met specific
minimum standards, and proven through examination and client interaction
that they possess the body of knowledge and experience required
for certification. This program recognizes and raises industry standards,
practices and ethics.
Just In Time Solutions was founded in November 2001 and is an organizing
and redesign service for homes and offices. Based in Lucan, north
of London, Pauline and her staff travel across Southwestern Ontario
helping people organize and beautify their life and the spaces they
live in by helping to clear out clutter and create systems for organization.
What is a Professional Organizer?
A Professional Organizer (PO) is a person who assists people to
purge, sort and set up systems in their home, office or life itself.
This can be a very simple process or a very difficult process. People
from all walks of life, from different situations and at different
times in their lives hire PO 's. Some may be struggling with the
loss of a loved one, some are moving or have recently moved, some
have become buried in a "sea of stuff" and some just want
a little extra help to simplify their lives. Many reasons cause
us to need assistance in life. Those who seek out the assistance
will move forward and be a better person.
Do all Professional Organizers need to be certified?
No. However Board of Certification for Professional Organizers was
established to raise the bar of public perception of Professional
Organizers. Organizing is finally getting the recognition it deserves
from society. It is more important than ever those clients can recognize
organizers as certified professionals.
The designation is earned when a CPO® candidate demonstrates
a significant quantity of organizing experience and client interaction,
as well as a solid understanding of the most current industry standards
and techniques.
Why is it important the public know I am now a Certified
Professional Organizer?
The certification is important because it makes the public more
aware of the service that is available to them and to allow them
to understand that there is a lot more to our jobs that getting
rid of "stuff". The marketplace also has many people claiming
to do what we do with very little experience or knowledge. As a
member of the Professional Organizers of Canada the certification
gives my work the additional creditability it deserves. This is
an association for Professional Organizers like myself to network,
support each other through their businesses and learn through conferences
and seminars. Becoming a CPO® gives me the Gold Standard for
Professional Organizers.
